Double Shot #35 – Punch in the face & The Virgin Sacrifice!

Well now… Here is the story of me punching an asshole in the face!  WhiskeyBoy has had enough… and I almost feel sorry for the douche bag that finally pushed him to the limit… ALMOST!  We start with BREAKING NEWS about accidents in Missouri, then the face punch story, then a GREAT tune from local rockers, Redefine!  After the song we have a missing clip from the night that the lights when out at the WhiskeyBoy Radio studios, a song for Shag the Fag and then another clip from the power outtage, where our new cohost, Justice, calls a friend and he tells an adventurous story of Virgin Sacrifice!

The Music Enthusiast Podcast #51 – “…Does it Beseech You to Know My Face?…”

As always, I start off this show by briefly recapping the concerts I caught from the previous weekend. Then, I start into a one-sided conversation where I pose the question, “Even if fans stop buying a bands albums (& instead pirate them) would the band really cease to exist?

Afterwards, we get to the music, and I play a few North Texas Rock acts, such as Early Pearl, Redefine and The Blurries, all of whom have shows this coming weekend. Things get a little more festive with the second half of the show, where I play a variation of covers and original Christmas songs from Here Holy Spain, Of Verona, Bethan, two Musicsubmit.com artists, Olga, Juliet Lyons, and finally, Arielle O’Keffe.

WHOA, folks… it’s time for your regular weekly shot of WhiskeyBoy’s midweek show!  We are absent Chrys Starr for this episode, but Producer Lants holds down like a BOSS.  We start with a musical shout out to a crazy stalker bitch.  Then we go right into a great show.  Music from Moving Atlas and Redefine, a couple of WhiskeyBoy’s Top 10 lists (top 10 gun safety tips and top 10 ways to be creepy in an elevator) MEOW, and some stories about naked folks, DUIs and Monkeys!  Plus Producer Lants (MEOW) has some ‘Good idea, Bad idea, Worse idea’, and WhiskeyBoy ends the show with another epic freestyle rap.  Enjoy this show… we worked hard on it.  NEXT WEEK on the DoubleShot, Producer Lants accepts the challenge from the chat room and HE WILL BE HOSTING THE SHOW (MEOW)… that’s right… he will have complete control and WhiskeyBoy takes the Producer seat.  Thanks for checking out this episode… See you next time!

The Music Enthusiast Podcast #15 – The Torch Entertainment Takeover Show

This episode is a FIRST, folks! I am joined, in studio, by one of the best promoters in the D-FW area, “Torch” of Torch Entertainment.

We do a little Q & A throughout the nearly two hour long show, and he even turns the tables on me for a minute asking me a question. We talk a little bit about everything, from music to TV, and even how apparently not all Americans hate Canadians and “gingers” (listen, you’ll understand.) And the question of the day? Where is Ty Griffin?

I also had Torch pick the playlist for this show, so we get to hear some tunes from some of his favorite bands, including Dark Horse Darling, No Scope, The Sammus Theory, Bult, Clepto, Redefine, Deaf Angel, Dawn Over Zero and Embrace the Embers.

This is a VERY fun show, and if you’ve been a fan of the past The Music Enthusiast shows, you should enjoy this one even more since it is totally different.
