This was an exciting episode, WBR’s one year anniversary show, live from the RBar in Denton. We had a lot of fun, had musical guests, fans joined us to play “Name that tune” and we played lots of music.  We played Rage Against the Machine, New Noise Standard, and The Raven Charter.  Be sure to keep an eye out for brand new episodes and new shows coming soon!

Like always, this episode begins with me recapping the concerts (or rather concert) I saw from the previous week, before playing a song from the Alt/Country band The Will Callers. Then, after covering the concert calendar for the upcoming week, I spin a tune from Spooky Folk.

The Music Enthusiast Podcast #64 – “…It’s Hard to Rise Above it All…”

This episode of the show should have at least one band that caters to your musical preferences, whatever they may be, and begins with rock song from Meridian. Things get a little heavier with Faded Grace and The Sammus Theory, before hitting the break where I go over the concert calendar. The second half of the show features the latest single from the Electronic band Ishi, then a song from The Rabid Whole, who is a killer band out of Canada, is played, while Folk/Country singer Madison King brings the show to an end.

I hope you all enjoy this full episode of the show!

The Music Enthusiast Podcast: Half Blast Part 4

I’ve got another short show for you all, and the few songs featured on it are pretty diverse. The first song played is by Hard Rock/Metal band, Fallen From Aether, and after going over the concert calendar for the week I spin a track from the killer Rock group, Bawcomville. Also, in the final moments of the show, I dedicate and play a song for Ricardo, who as you probably know has left WhiskeyBoy Radio. The song is from the band, Edgewater.

WBR #161 – WhiskeyBoy’s Farewell, and a RimShot!

Alrighty, Bitches and Bitchettes… this is it.  The End Has come.  Please enjoy this final offering from WhiskeyBoy.  It features and interview with Dallas band, Thrown, as well as their  tune “Drunk on Hate”, some drunk people at Trees and several sessions recorded at Reno’s Chop Shop with WhiskeyBoy, Jordan and Justice.  A final goodbye from WhiskeyBoy Radio’s founder and longtime host, WhiskeyBoy.  We talk about old times, give shout outs and thanks to all the cast members from years gone by, we talk about WHERE WhiskeyBoy is going and why he will be gone… we play a few of his favorite songs and he gives a final dedication via a song from Nothing More. And yes… I DO tell the story of a cross dressing guy, who looked a lot like Mariah Carrie, rubbing me down!

“Thank you to everyone who has been a friend and a fan for the past 5 1/2 years.  This show has been an amazing part of my life and I’m glad that so many of you could share in my life on a weekly basis… I will miss you all!” – WhiskeyBoy
