The Music Enthusiast Podcast:

Hey, my name’s Jordan. I write concert reviews (though I prefer to call them overviews) of bands, predominately local Texas based groups. I began doing it just for fun when I got into the local music scene in early 2006. Then adopted the TME moniker in late 2008, and eventually began to take these blogs a little more seriously. I do them in a “play-by-play” format if you will, by running through the bands setlist, though I do add my own opinions as well. I know that’s an unconventional way of doing it, but that’s how I’ve always wanted to read concert reviews.

The purpose of these blog posts and shows is simple: to promote what I consider to be fantastic music. And if I can turn just one person on to a band that they didn’t know of before reading my posts, then I have succeeded.

By the way, I can be pretty opinionated, but to be a good writer I feel that’s a good quality to have. (Though I deem what I do to be nothing more than mediocre crap.)

I make several posts a week and a 1 hour podcast, so check back often if you can. And for anyone who’s reading these, thanks for taking your time and I hope you enjoy and comeback!
